The youth pioneer society ended the second phase of the sixth version of ( The young parliamentarian 2023) program, with a (simulation game) workshop, that was executed by “Crisp” Berlin organization for simulation, and with the support of the program’s partner
Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS).

Crisp Berlin is a world leader in policy-based simulation games that, through the use of role-playing simulation games, seeks to develop a culture of self-learning and inclusiveness.

The workshop, which was presented by Mr. Mohamed Najeeb Rahmi and Mrs. Anastasia Haliko, trainers at “Crisp” Berlin, focused on providing realistic opportunities for training and learning on negotiation method and skills, formulating public policies, presentation skills and effective communication, in addition to methods that help develop opportunities for cooperation with all parties.

The general coordinator of the program, Abdullah Zada, explained that the second phase of the program was of a practical nature, as the participants of the program were able to apply the skills and experiences they acquired, through discussion sessions and round table dialogues, during which several topics dealing with media, public opinion, the art of legislation and decision-making were discussed. In addition to topics focusing on current issues.

He explained that the program will conclude with the Parliamentary Youth Forum and the closing ceremony, in addition to a visit by a group of distinguished participants on an educational trip to Brussels and a visit to the European Parliament and civil society institutions.

It is worth noting that the program is organized by the Pioneer society in its sixth edition under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, The Chairman of the Shura Council, and in strategic partnership with the European Union and the German “Konrad Adenauer Stiftung” Institute for the second consecutive year.

The Pioneer Society launched the first version of the program in 2014, and its previous versions achieved continuous success. The program is an initiative to build leadership capacities and empower Bahraini youth, by uncovering and nurturing local talents to create the leaders of tomorrow through a series of educational and applied workshops.
